Jobs Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager/Cook. The successful applicant will work along side of owner/operators in food preparation, food handling, performing and overseeing meal service on the line and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties:
Prep according to recipes and portion sizes; fulfilling table orders from 100 seat dining room plus take out
Baking, Soups, Gravies, Sauces, Buffet Items
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the highest quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste
Oversee kitchen and Wait staff and help with training
Help with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing scheduled deliveries
Support the team in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to oversee Kitchen Staff
